About JEXPO: Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic. After passing this exam, you can easily be admitted to any Polytechnic in West Bengal. If you want to do a diploma in engineering then this exam is mandatory to take admission in polytechnic institutes in West Bengal.
About VOCLET: Vocational Lateral Entry Test. By Passing this test, you can take admission in the second year directly to a polytechnic college. After 2 years of the I.T.I. certificate course, if you want to be admitted to a diploma engineering or polytechnic college then is exam is mandatory to pass.
About JELET: Joint Entrance Lateral Engineering Test. An entrance exam by which you can take direct admission in the second year of your Degree. If you crack this exam then you can take admission in B-Tech 3rd semester directly. So a 4-year course becomes 3 years of course.
